01About these terms

02Our services

We provide residential locksmith services in London, including emergency lockouts, lock opening, uPVC door and lock repair, lock replacement, lock changes and burglary repairs.

Arrival times given on the Website or by phone (for example "20-25 minutes") are typical estimates. Actual times can vary with traffic, weather, demand and location. We will keep you updated if a technician is delayed.

03Prices and quotes

04Proof of entitlement

Before opening a lock or giving access to a property or vehicle, we will ask for reasonable proof that you are entitled to access it, such as photo ID together with a document showing the address, or confirmation from the owner or landlord.

We may refuse to carry out work, or stop work, if we cannot verify your entitlement or if we believe the work may be unlawful. A call-out charge may still apply in that case, and we will tell you about it before the technician is sent.

05Non-destructive entry

We always try non-destructive methods first. Some locks, especially high-security, damaged or faulty locks, cannot be opened without drilling or replacing parts. If this is necessary, we will explain the options and agree the cost with you before going ahead.

06Payment

Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept debit and credit card, and cash. You will receive a receipt or invoice for the work.

07Cancellations and your cancellation rights

You can cancel a booking at any time before the technician arrives by calling us. If the technician is already on the way, a call-out charge may apply, which we will tell you about when you book.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you usually have 14 days to cancel a service contract made by phone or online. However:

08Guarantee and your statutory rights

We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, and parts we supply will be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you are not happy with the work, contact us as soon as possible and we will put it right. New parts we fit are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee where one applies, and our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

09Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for existing faults or damage to doors, frames and locks, or for business losses.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law.

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13Governing law
